Club Rides. The aim is to run these every week, whatever the weather except leaisure rides. If you're not sure if a ride is suitable for your bike and fitness ask in the shop or on the forum. We will always endevour to ride as a group and encourage slower riders, we are a friendly club. We do ask that you choose a ride at the correct level. If you're not sure come out on the Monday(MTB) or Tues (Road) evening rides and we can advice.

Road Rides

Tues Eve (Summer only) - 7 at the shop 1-2 hrs club run. Pace will be dependant on who comes out, road bike required.

Weekend rides will also be arranged, see the forum (Or post on the forum and suggest a route or time)

(Summer means once the clocks change, it makes no assumption as to what the actual weather will be!)

MTB Rides

Saturdays 11am - Beginner Ride - 2hrs or so, an easy paced ride ideal for riders new to mountain biking, or if you are trying to build up some fitness. Pace will be gentle with plenty of time to rest. Some moderately technical terrain may be on the route, but there will be no pressure to ride this quickly.

Monday Evenings - Intermediate Ride - 1-2 hrs, meet at the shop at 6. This ride is run to cater to most riders, the pace shouldn't be too challenging, and there will be plenty of time to ride technical sections at your own pace. Expect plenty of banter as well as a fair bit of riding.

Thursday evenings - Intermediate/Hard Ride - 2-3 hrs, leave the shop 7pm sharp. A harder ride than Monday, the pace will be a little faster, with less rest stops. May include steep technical sections. This ride normally ends at a pub for a sociable pint.

Leisure Rides

Open to anyone with a bike, the aim is to have some sociable family rides. 8-10 miles, 2-3 hours, lunch stop, although you can bring a sarnie instead if you like.

Dates to be published on the forum and the calendar.
